Rafah Sanitation Project, Gaza Strip
Services Provided:Technical Assistance to the Municipal Authority in Rafah, Gaza, for implementation of the Drainage & Sanitation Project and Institutional Development. The project included:
- Detailed design of a 250,000 PE wastewater treatment plant
- Development of a hydraulic model of wastewater collection network
- Design & construction of 50km of wastewater and stormwater pipework varying in size from 300mm up to 1,200mm diameter
- The Design and preparation of Tender Documents for all of the above
The project also included Training and Institutional Strengthening assistance to the Local Authority.
