Services Provided: Preliminary Report and Cost Estimate, Investigation of Water sources and capacity, Detailed Design, Water Audit Report, Preparation of Contract Documents for Advance Works Contracts and Construction Supervision. Detailed design and Contract Documents for the main scheme. Environmental studies.

Key Features:
Design involves rationalisation of the water supply to the Southern area of County Donegal including the towns of Ballyshannon, Bundoran, Rossnowlagh and incorporating a number of group water supply schemes. Phasing of the Works to provide water to Rossnowlagh.

Distribution/Trunk Main Network: Water Conservation Study including metering programme and preparation of water audit report to identify UFW. Hydraulic modelling of water reticulation network, ranging in size from 100mm to 400mm diameter, including Rising Mains and Pipe Crossings at the Abbey and Erne Rivers.

Water Treatment Plant: Intake works and treatment plant for design demand of 10,500m3/d. Design of three Service Reservoirs. Hydrogeological investigation of aquifers to determine yield/ short term augmentation source of water for the existing WTW.

Advance Works Contracts: Advance Works Contracts including Groundwater well drilling & associated mechanical and electrical contract, advance works watermain contract to supply Rossnowlagh, review of WTP.
