Key Features:
Design involves rationalisation of the water supply within each regional scheme area (Arigna, Boyle/Ardcarne, Roscommon Central & South Roscommon), incorporating a number of group water supply schemes.  Water Conservation.  Source Selection Process. Cryptosporidium Risk assessment report.

Surveys & Investigations: Investigation of surface water and groundwater water sources.  Ground investigation and Production Well drilling contract documents and associated construction supervision generally complete.

Distribution/Trunk Main Networks: Water Conservation Audits, Hydraulic modelling of water Reticulation Networks.  Service Reservoirs and watermains ranging in size from 25mm to 400mm diameter, including rising mains.

Water Treatment Plants: Review of existing WTP and reservoirs.  Recommendations for future works - WTP capacities ranging from 1,350m3/day to 7,400m3/day and service reservoirs with 1 days storage capacity. <

Detailed Design and Contract Documents: Lisbrock (part of SRRWSS) Detailed Design of Production wells (6nr), 300m3 Holding water tank, Pumping Station (350 - 300m3/hr), chlorine & fluorine dosing, 6000m3 reservoir & pipelines (watermains, rising mains) complete. Project tendered in 2007 using the IEI Conditions of Contract and currently under construction
