Environmental Impact Statement
Key Features:
The works carried out include analysis and construction of sewer hydraulic models of the
Mullingar sewer system; identification of deficiencies and proposal of improvements for the expanding town and environs of
Mullingar. Hydraulic modelling of River Brosna. Particulars of work include:
- Data collection, comprising Manhole / Sewer Survey, CCTV Survey
- Impermeable Area Survey, Flow / Rainfall Survey and existing Pumping Stations Survey
- Construction of hydraulic models using HydroWorks software
- Flow and Rainfall Survey interpretation and analysis for model calibration
- Assessment of hydraulic and structural deficiencies in existing sewer network
- Design of new sewers and rationalisation of pumping stations to cater for long term catchment development
- Hydraulic Modelling of River Brosna
