Project Summary:
Donegal Group A is a DBO (Design, Build & Operate) Contract for wastewater treatment facilities at Donegal Town, Ballyshannon and Rossnowlagh including main lift pump stations, rising main, outfalls and Sludge thermal drier.
The Project Includes:
  • 3 no. wastewater treatment plants (4,000pe-12,000pe)
  • 1 no. Sludge Hub Centre – Class A Biosolid produced by Thermal drying
  • 4 No. Pumping Stations, Rising Mains and Treated Effluent outfalls
  • Biosolid Reuse Route
  • Sludge Transportation
  • 20 Year Operate and Maintain Contract


Services Provided:
  • Management of Archaeological, Ecological and Site investigation Contracts
  • Assistance to Local Authority with Part 8 Planning and EIS preparation
  • Detailed design and Contract document for both Contracts
  • Performing PSDS role
  • Management of tender stage and issue of detailed tender assessment reports
  • Acting as Employer Representative for Construction supervision stage
  • Management of Handover and final account preparation
