Awards

J. B. Barry and Partners Limited has won awards for design work carried out exclusively by the practice, and has also has been part of design teams that have won awards for projects.

  • 1991 - Association of Consulting Engineers Presidents Award for Excellence in the design of the Bray Pumping Station Project.
  • 2000 - Association of Consulting Engineers Presidents Award for Excellence in the design of the Wexford Bridge Reconstruction.
  • 2000 - Europa Nostra Award for the Glendalough Interpretive Centre. (As part of a Multi-Discipline Design Team)
  • 2006 - Association of Consulting Engineers Presidents Award for Excellence in the design of the Limerick Main Drainage Project
  • Tramway House, the practice's Head Office, which was developed by BeMRA, was originally a tram depot and received a European Architectural Heritage Award in 1975 for its conversion and modernisation.
  • Plan Magazine Award for The Cavan General Hospital Project.
  • In many of our other projects we have received merit awards.
